Here is a video presenting the video-conference solution: Cisco TelePresence Meeting. It shows a meeting gathering a person talking at distance and an hologram in the same room.
The video is indeed sensational : it does look like an hologram. Although it appears on a huge screenplay in a dark conference room. Video images are high definition and human sized. As to technology it is no real innovation though.

I have read this post. This is very much true. Even I own a blog account on video conferencing. Video conferencing is indeed a great innovation in technology and communications.
