The analyst Gartner published a few days ago the Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence 2008. The graph presents a global view of Gartner’s opinion about the main software vendors that should be considered by organizations seeking to develop business intelligence (BI) applications. Buyers should evaluate vendors in 2 directions:

  • Ability to Execute
  • Completeness of Vision

Observatory of Free Software published on January the “Baromètre des tendances 2007-2008 du logiciel libre 2007-2008“. I was pleased to read that the Business Intelligence is the most dynamic segment as I already mentionned it.
